The SLAM-B target project was officially launched from 15 to 17 May 2023

Of FairCarboN's 5 target projects, SLAM-B is the first to get underway

The second FairCarboN target project, SLAM-B: Scenarios labs for designing and assessing local bioeconomy trajectories towards carbon neutrality, was launched at a seminar held in Montpellier from 15 to 17 May.

It was an opportunity for the researchers involved in the project to get together for the first time and discuss governance, leadership and the project's three task groups. The seminar also enabled them to find out more about the project's relationship with the FairCarboN programme itself and with the French National Research Agency (ANR).

SLAM-B aims to structure the French research community developing and applying integrated modelling and assessment (IMA) approaches. The aim is to support a sustainable bioeconomy based on agroecology.
