FairCarboN supports knowledge diffusion

The project provides funding for conferences, conference sessions, workshops, educational programmes for researchers, technical educational programmes, and more.

FairCarboN is committed to uniting researchers who are studying carbon dynamics in continental ecosystems. Consequently, it provides financial support for any events on this topic (e.g., conferences, workshops, educational programmes for researchers, technical educational programmes).

FairCarboN is focused on strengthening the French scientific community exploring carbon dynamics in continental ecosystems. Given the its goal of community building, the project grants financial support to stakeholders and other external parties who are organising an event related to one of FairCarboN’s four research axes:

• Quantifying carbon inputs, transfers, transformations, and storage along the terrestrial-coastal-atmospheric continuum
• Coupling biogeochemical cycles in a context of global change
• Expansion of plant biomass production and use
• Economic and social issues: drivers and impacts of change

Your proposal will be examined by the FairCarboN evaluation committee. We recommend that you apply at least three months before the date of your event.  You will receive a reply within two months of submitting your application. If you are awarded funding, we will expect you to submit a short report of around 300 words accompanied by a visual illustration after your event has ended. These resources will be added to FairCarboN’s pool of communication materials.
