[FairCarboN Pedological Outing]: An immersive dive into soil science!

In early December, the young researchers in the FairCarboN program were lucky enough to take part in a pedological (soil study) outing organized by the program. They spent three days together in the Hérault region of France studying soils, combining field exploration and scientific collaboration!

On the program

Full-day immersion in pedology with Guillaume Coulouma (LISAH). Simon Charrière, one of the participants, explains: "We explored different soil profiles, analyzed a pit dug for the occasion and compared our interpretations. Between learning the basics of soil reading and discussions as fundamental as the definition of a rock, this day truly broadened our vision!"
    Group work sessions

Participant feedback: An experience that combined scientific learning, collaborative stimulation and unprecedented moments of reflection. Whether in the discussions or in the field, everyone came away with something new.
Many thanks to Guillaume Coulouma for his expertise and to everyone involved in the organization !
